We are proud to announce that in July 2007 it4 attained Microsoft 's small business specialist status in the Microsoft partner program and became a Microsoft Authorised Educational Reseller(AER). This now allows it4 to provide solutions and products for the education sector. The Microsoft® Authorised Education Reseller (AER) programme allows it4 to sell Microsoft Academic Edition software products to education customers at academic prices.

Working closely with UK and worldwide education communities, Microsoft has developed technology, tools, programmes and solutions to help address education challenges while improving teaching and learning opportunities. Microsoft, with it4, deliver technology solutions and services to improve student achievement and administrative processes. Microsoft also work with educators, educational organisations and industry partners to expand the world of learning through technology programmes such as Partners in Learning and the Innovative Teachers Network.

Small Business Certified Partner, it4 has demonstrated expertise with Microsoft technologies and proven ability to meet customers needs.

Microsoft small business partners receive a rich set of benefits, including access, training and support, giving them a competitive advantage in the marketplace. As one of the requirements for attaining certified status, it4 had to declare a Microsoft competency.

Microsoft competencies are designed to help differentiate a partner's capabilities with specific Microsoft technologies to customers looking for a particular type of solution. Each competency has a unique set of requirements and benefits, formulated to accurately represent the specific skills and services that partners bring to the technology industry.
